They have the best photos and videos. Their writing can be really good and I love the concept. However, they have agendas to push. The view of the world they are presenting is severely biased. I reckon that most of their contemporary expositions of theological relevance mix truth with severe error. Their expositions are much too palatable to humanists and someone ought to say it (msg is not a good substitute for salt).
Site owned by the National Geographic Society.
National Geographic is a project which aims to raise awareness and knowledge of the world we live in. The National Geographic websites have all sorts of interesting information, pictures, videos, articles etc. on animals, the environment, cultures, history, world music, travel, and other world-related subjects.
I highly recommend this site and all other National Geographic websites.
Official web site of the National Geographic Society - a motherlode of information about the world. Is it biased? Of course it is, it's made by people; but it's head and shoulders above the Smithsonian Institute which steadfastly props up long disproved dogma.
National Geographic provides free maps, photos, videos and daily news stories, as well as articles and features about animals, the environment, cultures, history, world music, and travel.
