It's never tried to be a "fake steam site", and it's been registered long before Steam even existed. All it is is a few lines of text. There's no way to type any information (password, name, etc) into the site, so no trust is needed.
Steam.com is "Steam Tunnel Operations", which was activated in the 90's. This is in no way, shape or form a part of or meant to be a scam of Steam Powered -- steampowered.com. Those that have given this website a poor rating should do a little research before making false accusations.
My god, most of you guys are fucking morons. Did you even look at the website before posting comments? This is not a "fake steam site", it's completely unrelated to the digital distribution service of Valve. For crying out loud there isn't even a place where you can input your user name and password. Hurrrrr
God, this is not fake of Steam client, services.
This was made before Valve was founded
made on 1994
Valve was founded in 1996
Steam came out back in 2003
This isn't even related to Valve/Steam services, does not claim to do so.
Learn what is PHISHING and what is NOT phishing
This site was about networking has existed since 1994, you stupid retards! Why has thumbs up or down been disabled? This has been around since 1994 I can't believe the amount of stupidity going on here! People calling out for fake spyware and bad costumer experience! Dudes steam is a very common word, idiots! Besides the site existed before their was a Valve corporation. You all are too stupid to be reviewing sites for wot, it's way too important to be done by people who follow a flock and just make stuff up. If you shit for brains actually went to the site once, it clearly states nothing of gaming and only states it used to be the webpage of Steam Tunnel Operations. Yes stupids a real company that you people would have realized if you investigated for two seconds any info right on wot, before taring the site apart.

This site isn't "fake" in the slightest, and there's no way to phish because it has nowhere to input an ounce of information. The person who owns it just won't give it to Valve, so it's just sitting there.
