Concerned about Wired's tacit support of The Onion for calling Quvenzhane Wallis the C-Word: via Twitter

Why The Onion’s c-word tweet was well-intentioned — but wrong: http://oak.ctx.ly/r/2ljo
Really? Can calling a 9 year-old black girl the C word "well-intentioned" in any context?
Also, Wired's website Haitirewired is moderated by Arikia Milikan, who banned an activist for standing up against Monsanto's toxic "gift" of hybrid seeds to Haiti, which will ultimately destroy the small farmers by replacing the affordable native seeds that can be replanted and grown cheaply with Monsanto "suicide" seeds that don't reproduce and need expensive, toxic fertilizers and herbicides that not only are bad for Haiti's ecosystem, but will bankrupt small farmers, because they have to keep coming back to Monsanto for the upkeep and buying of these seeds.
Milikan was an intern at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which makes one suspect a larger conspiracy against Haiti's farmers by that U.S. government institution. They certainly don't have the best interest of the Haitian farmer or sustainable solutions for Haiti that don't involve lining the pockets of U.S. corporations, big agribusinesses and the U.S. government subsidized farming industry.
