the extension and program are both malware, but if you're just using the site, you're all good. you'll get popups but just make sure to hover before clicking to see what it'll take you to.
Great website for converting videos. Just beware of the pop-up window tabs that come up pretending to be the download link. Just stay on the website and with some common sense, you should be fine. Date written: 6/22/2019
Just be careful when you click download. A new tab should open in an attempt to get you to download whatever garbage. Just close that upon its opening. The convert and the download button for your file should be fine but don't touch anything else on this site.
Does what it says but be very careful:
-> tries to enter your browser by getting authority for sending you push messages, which then is hard to get rid of because its sending you to pages, you did not authorize (so it is hard to un-authoriize them)
-> Every now and than the file to download is not what they said, but some kind of s**t (malware)
-> Opens pop-ups mimicking OS messages with annoying sounds.
Good site, converts Youtube videos to Mp3 or Mp4 depending on what settings are selected, it will often redirect you to advertiser sites but very few contain malware or spyware, probably just the creators trying to get money from sponsors.
Good site, it works fine for me, and if you have some kind of adblock and HTTPS Everywhere the "malware" site that pops up (that hasn't been a malware site for me yet) won't do anything, and you can just close the site when it pops up.
When you go and convert a video, after you press download, more often than not, you see a new tab redirecting you to a site that is most likely not credible and is trying to steal your information. If this is the only thing you can use, it gets the job done.
