Right-wing Republican, bullshit-spreading, claiming-to-be-truthful-news site. Publish lies wraps in lies and soaked in lies. Example include Obama Westpoint Speech that gives people impression that no one applauded at his speech.
Fox News is mostly filled with commentators and not actual news reporters, who state the world events. Even though their messages are clear and understandable, they become a staple of their reporting.
Fox News is conservatively biased; however, it definitely displays meaningful material.
In 2003, Fox news successfully argued they had the right to make untrue statements (admitting that this was their practice - source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Akre#Whistleblower_lawsuit) to the public and claim it is news. How can their "vendor reliability rating" be anything but bad?
While it is WOT's policy to go purely on votes, Fox has publicly admitted that their stock in trade is falsifying informaiton dispensed to the public as journalism, fully aware that public assumes that Fox has made good and honest efforts to validate the factualy accuracy of the information they promulgate. When in fact in a federal court of law in 2003 they made known publicly that this is not what they do.
In the case of a vendor that publicly admits falsifying information, WOT should leave the "vendor reliability' rating bottomed out, whth a note to the federal ruling supporting their practice of falsifying informaiton to the public.
Much closer to the truth than ABC, NBC and CBS. Many are confused because the 3 major networks say pretty much the same thing because they are all owned and backed by big money all over the world. Without Fox, no truth would ever be told. It's invaluable to have at least one network not afraid of getting to the truth in spite of those too ignorant or narrow minded to recognize the truth when they hear it. A good American will search out the truth, not just believe anything because it's what they want to hear.
My parents use FOXNews. They happen to have a Confederate flag hanging on their door, too.
FOXNews is really biased and conservative, to the point where it lies just to please its readers. Then again, I wouldn't use any news source that has a page devoted to Glenn Beck. Some of their stuff is so convoluted that even a Republican would be offended.
This site has been caught more times than most of us can count faking sources, using pictures from one event and saying it is from a different event in order to make up a story. It goes on and on. They do not, ever, footnote their claims.
Even a first year journalism student will see that this site is a true danger to the journalism industry since its main purpose seems to be, by many people and organizations, ideological motivated, working to create hate against some group, and, to alter the truth to meet their political and social agenda. It is truly scary.
