IMDB is mostly the best for finding info about movies, but sometimes the search engine might lead a child towards the wrong path such as sometimes if you type a name of a kids movie then in the recommendation section there are other movies which are not suitable for a child to see so you defiantly need an adult to look out for this website
Started receiving nasty amounts of spam within 20 minutes of registering for the 'Pro' version (free registration)... it took it several months to die off, possibly related to a crackdown on a large group at roughly the same time. IMDB itself is great, but I recommend against registering for anything... they're either compromised, or selling info.
This Website is Really a reliable website. It has a lot of information about MOVIES and UPCOMING MOVIES which actually can help people to be informed about the next movies they would be able to watch. It is also a reliable source of finding information about movies and tv shows. Overall, an excellent WEBSITE. :)
Fantastic resource for all films, including esoteric foreign ones, as well as TV shows, and really let's you separate the wheat from the chaff when you're deciding whether to view a certain movie, or add it to your "To Do" list. Pop-ups are easily defeated by any of the standard blockers out there, and definitely have never, ever received any spam after being a member for many years. This site is also nicely complemented by rottentomatoes.com or metacritic.com
Their privacy policies are scandalous, to say the least. They give your personal data away to third parties for comercial and advertising matter. That's just the kind of stuff that gets your inbox loaded with spam. Lately they have been requiring random users to inform their credit card numbers and phone numbers (wich they called "complimentary data" and "totally voluntary") in order to be able to post in the IMDB Forums. That's so lame that some people i know assumed it was some sort of scam and quite posting at the IMDB Forums. And all that is not just talk, it's actually written very neat in their Privacy Policies page (well, at least they admit it...) IMDB is a great informative and cultural site, i rated it excellent on everything but the privacy, which has been an anoying outstanding feature in this site for quite some time now.
