Безопасен ли rentalcars.com?

Absolutely not recommendable. The security deposit is extremely high. Three times higher than all others, but they do not accept the same amount of money in cash, only credit cards issued in your name. But I could pay my fees with such a car. I never had any trouble with other companies, it was not a problem to block the security deposit on my debit card. All sounds a bit suspect there.

my daughter rented a car on their site.  Her flight was delayed so when she went there to get her car they had no more cars.  Even though she entered her flight info on the reservation they gave her car away and said that it was her responsibility to let them know.  How? She was flying. The worst part is they refused to refund her because the fine print says if you are late to pick up the car you lose your money and may not get a car.  I have read a lot of these kinds of reports about them. I made a booking for a car in Madrid. Rentalcars said the booking included an insurance but it didn't. At the airport, I had to pay 600€ to collect the car or cancel my booking. Rentalscar made me pay $66 as a cancellation fee for their mistake. I contacted the customer service, still no response after 34 days. Avoid this company.

Attention, voyous, arnaque, regardez bien et photographiez bien votre véhicule sur toutes les coutures AVANT !,... eux vont le faire à la réception.... Une mini griffure sur un enjoliveur plastique (fait par le précédent utilisateur certainement) : 400 euros de franchise !!!!!!!!. arnaqué à Munich...

We did a reservation through them for a trip to Malaga. When we landed and went to collect the car, it turned out that the company there (Advantages) does not work with VISA cards. This is an outrage, as RentalCars' terms and conditions explicitly state that Visa cards are a valid mean of payment.
