Everyone knows steam, it is the most popular PC online shop for games, the only problem is the support wich is almost non-existant, it is just some automated fixes for some valve games, and options to manage games like deleting them
Steam is a platform for buying, playing and discussing video games. Steam Community is the discussion side, and the site has some great social features. Users can add others to their friend list, participate in various forums and discussion threads, set an avatar, username and unlockable background for their profile etc. The Steam client even has an instant messenger, which is not only very useful during games, but just to stay in touch with friends too. I will have to disagree with "only for kids", though, as many games on this site are rated for teenage, mature and adults only (13+, 17+ and 18+ respectively)... whoever still thinks video games are a medium only for young children in this millennium, sorry, but you're a fool.
Friendly community, great experience, no severe privacy or security risks, and last time a breach happened the site was taken offline and everything was fixed within around an hour.
It's not entirely for kids though, there is occasional swearing on some of the more popular forums and groups, and the age gate on 18+/mature games is no more than a simple day/month/year picker.
Community Hubs are collections of all the best community and official game content as rated by users.
