I somehow overlooked my own previous condemnation of this site, which was vindicated again by a download today (26 Jul 2013). Evidently I forgot to register my own rating on the bar charts, at the time of my last rant, three years ago. I successfully downloaded an .MP4 video file. The MP4 ran only so long as to advise that the content couldn't be viewed without first installing a provided codec, in a subfolder "codec\". Now why would a proprietary codec — an executable — be necessary? I did a hex edit and found the executable looking sweet and benign. It seemed to be an archive utility, which soon made sense. A virus scan detected nothing. Once run, though, the exec created a *second* executable. Nice dodge! I put the brakes on it without removing the process, and scanned again. Microsoft, McAfee, and other sites identified a "low risk" (though the listed effects seemed far more noxious than that suggested) trojan, first identified only two days ago. I didn't bother to hex edit it. It had the smell, the colour, the texture, and the look of BS, so clever guy that I am, I reckoned it was BS. Given the comments about this site, I wonder at the overall good rating it carries. I will blacklist this site entirely, to avoid forgetfully loading any page of it into my browser. Intruders. Bait-and-switchers. Spammers. Pains in the ass. Avoid these douche applicators entirely and save yourself a painful system recovery ordeal. "Word" in Toronto (That'll be $ .02, please!)

SO many of you people are just morons who don't know how to navigate around advertisement, or how to use torrents. It's YOUR fault you're too stupid to do it right. If you know what you're doing, it's fine, if you're a moron, it's not. This is what happens when we let all the morons use the internets and make it easier and easier for them to use computers. Does this site practice questionable bullsh*t? No doubt. Do some actual research on how to safely download things and how to spot the correct links. Honestly, I'm pretty sure it takes deductive reasoning and intelligence, something most of you seem to ***** you're probably all shit out of luck
