Le site btconnect.com est-il sûr ?

btconnect.com is owned by BT and mainly hosts content for their business customers. You may not like BT as a company but the website is clean and non-malicious. Some spammers may use a btconnect.com email address to send out their garbage but this can happen to any email provider and is not a reflection of BT themselves.

This comment is made more in sadness than in anger. ( motnhs ago I switched from my long standing provider to BT Connect anticipating a better performance, a better experience. The costs were certainly high but I expected a world class service. It has been a disaster. The change was brought about by change of location and BT were contracted to 'manage' the complete installation, internet-broadband and telephones. It has been a fiasco. For the first month no broadband at all as BT specified wrong router, when correct router installed emails sent to one email address appeared on ***** privacy. Access only from my work station, therefore when I was in hospital my colleagues could not access via BT. Down load speeds a disaster. Mail box size miniscule despite huge costs. management, i.e. deletion on BT retained impossible. Wholly dysfucntional. 8 months into the disaster, BT engineers came in and had to completely rewire the connections they had installed initially. Download speeds did improve, and we could actually use the telephones and hear what was being said! BT have promised compensation for the complete disaster but the promise never materialised but daily harrassment from India-Phillipines for us to pay for service that was useless. When the call centres read the notes they apologise....but do the same thing the following day. I am truly shocked by the inept, shoddy, third rate service. BT have been given complete access to our facilities, computers etc but seem quite unable to resolve problems. Our old provider though not the best (AOL) managed to provide a service without 90% of the problems we have with BT. A truly sad situation given that BT were once a world class organisation. Now just greedy and inept.
