Is deviantart.com Safe?

I absolutely abhor this site and all who use it. This site is nothing more than a hot bed for neofeminists and other way out extreme leftists as well as people holding similar views that have been brainwashed by that type of propaganda. Some of them take their clothes off in public with children present and have angry words of "protest" written on their bodies in red ink. The most disgusting human beings on earth who consider all things sexual to be art. These people don't stand for any truth, freedom, equality, justice, peace or else they wouldn't be doing these types of things to begin with? This is one of the absolute worst sites on the internet, it contains so much adult content and sexual themes yet it's supposedly safe for all ages. It shows up all the time in Google Image search results. Sometimes I'm just looking for something relating to The Simpsons, or a video game, and there it is, some garbage made by some losers on deviant art. I am so sick and tired of this site and I refuse to allow this problem to grow any further. Why does it show up so often in search results? This is one of the only sites I have ever considered actually blocking from my Firefox using an addon. It's that bad. This isn't art, you people are sick in the head. This is filth and nothing more. Last time I checked, art had class and talent. Deviantart has none of that. All it is, is western imperialism masquerading as liberalism. It's extreme leftist propaganda designed to destroy non-western cultures and morality of all kind.

It's a shame us WOT users have to rate sites in such a nuanced way, but it's just a fact that deviantart allows artists to create and publish images of erotica as well as hyperviolence. While I'd be OK with my kid (if I had one) viewing what is really well-modded as art, many find sex pornographic in any case. While much of the nudity and sexual erotica allowed by deviantart and available on the site in anime/illustrated, photographs of 'models' are allowed as well. In conclusion, I see my interpretation of said content is a minority view -- I'm only trying to provide the WOT enduser with accurate information especially if they depend on WOT to inform them and their children what is and isn't an appropriate website. spin

There is a convenient contact hub for media/entertainment/press professionals in fields like illustration or music production, along with some quality contemporary art, but both are hidden underneath a glorified MySpace with godawful amateur and hipster artwork, fractured communities which may be driven by the mob mentality and identity politics, occasional soft-core pornography, and fanboyism. The search engine also has myriad problems related to syntax and word recognition. If you are willing to find the hidden gems among the dross, or if if you want to contact talent or representatives in the previously mentioned industries, I slightly recommend it.
