Is google.com Safe?

Attention, il est très facile, trop facile, de trouver du contenu pornographique par ce moteur de recherche ! Notamment par la recherche d'images ! Un enfant peut facilement tomber sur une image explicite ne menant une recherche innocente. Un ado qui cherche un peu pourra trouver toute la pornographie qu'il souhaite, sans qu'il lui soit besoin d'entrer sur des sites recensées comme ayant un contenu pornographique ! Il y'a là un moyen de contourner certains logiciels de protection parentale !

Outrageously good site. There are a few issues as to how the information Google gathers will ultimately be used, but thy seem to be sensitive to this. Also, unless the "grown-up-in-charge" takes steps to minimize the possibility, children =might= be directed to try a "non-child-appropriate" location. The appropriate steps are basic, easy, and mostly just need the adult to exercise common sense. Up to now, they have done, overall, a good job of living up to the company motto: "Don't Be Evil".

There is nothing wrong with igoogle, some of the add-ons or content that you add to your homepage could possibly have spyware or adware but that is why you stay away from certain things like adult content. For people that doesn't like the adult content being on there well there is an easy solution....DON'T add it to your homepage and you won't have to worry about it. GROW UP.
