Recruiters are intended to be agents of the applicant.  Employees with this group swamped me with unsolicited LinkedIn connection requests.  None had requisitions for me or showed interest in learning about me in to find requisitions.  They confessed they gather resumes in order to fill requisitions they find.  This is the opposite of what recruiters should do.  A recruiter is not a 3rd party HR resume pool to dodge.  Do not let these folks represent you!  Here is a conversation with one of the recruiters at Hunter: On Aug 11, Brian Fowler said the following: Thanks for accepting my invite.
