National Geographic is a project which aims to raise awareness and knowledge of the world we live in. The National Geographic websites have all sorts of interesting information, pictures, videos, articles etc. on animals, the environment, cultures, history, world music, travel, and other world-related subjects.
I highly recommend this site and all other National Geographic websites.
