everything on here is pretty safe EXCEPT for "the pit" in the forums where all the guys act like guys (innapropriate humor, talk, etc.)
Besides, this is the only guitar tab site that hasn't been shut down...

*Short Version* Ok so there are pros and cons, some annoying ads but other than that great website to learn new songs.
*Long Version* Let's get this straight. I get cookies, annoying ads, and popups, the site freezes constantly, and inappropriate ads. Pop up blocker would help, but these problems get annoying. Not so trustworthy because these tabs are made by people just like us and some may be incorrect while others may be great tabs. If you want an account you may need to give some info about you but other than that nothing too bad. Also, it may not be child - friendly sometimes due to lyrics in songs but parents/guardians are responsible for that though. On the bright side of things, I learn many new songs because of this site, and great for all guitar players from beginners to experts. You can also make your own tabs of songs and put them up too! I put this in Other because this site has so many pros and cons it is somewhere in between good and bad. Hope this helps...

I've seen some ads and forum posts that may not be child friendly, but the site is (minus the ads and forum).

This is my favorite site. They have practically every tab for every song for every band! It is very easy to find tabs and very child-friendly. I recommend this site to the true rocker!

I used this site for about 4 months and everything was great...but then I started looking at the "Top 100 Tabs" and clicking on them to see them and a box would pop up to download some sort of Adobe page...it wasn't possible to "X" it out...I hit "Cancel" and got a virus. I took my computer to get fixed and went on this site again the first day I got my computer back and the same thing popped up and I got another virus. Don't risk using this website...find your tabs somewhere else.

I´ve got virus.... When i enter the website i search tabs... 5 minutes go and then internet explorer closes, pop-up comes my desktop and it says: This is virus Repair with avg and then theres is a link for avg download, there is button ok i click the button ok and then comes virus for me!!!! its good website but i got virus......

This is a great website with lots of useful tabs, but it recently has been using these pop-ups that link to rogue anti viruses and shows those fake scans within the browser. I refuse to visit this site again until they go back to how they were before.
