WOT reputations are ''dynamic'', they constantly change with both user input and no input.

When you visit a site and you offer your testimony by rating one or more of the [[Scorecard#The_Rating_Categories|rating categories]], your input is recorded. These ratings are "weighted" and the amount of their weight is determined by your current [[Rating reliability|rating reliability]].

Every time you visit a site which you have rated, you refresh your ratings as if you had just entered them. A good example is if you rate your browser's homepage, every time you click "home" and land on the page, you've rated it.

So what happens if you rate a site and never return a visit to it? Your ratings "fade" meaning that their weight diminishes over time.
