Pretty good alternative when you are in China with no access to the Play store. Have been using it for years now with no issues. Only with free apps though.

Please remove the Yellow Rating. I have been using this site for apps for Android for over a year and was never infected. I understand that people are loyal to the spyware riddled Monopolistic "Google Play" Store, but at least here you can actually download the .apk file and store it for offline purposes should you not have internet access.
