This is part of AOL's advertising. Advertising is acceptable; tracking is never ever without exception acceptable. The internet became a life's necessity when ads did not track you. If it worked once, it can work again.

adtechus.com is a company in the online advertising business. It helps marketers track which of their ads get clicked on, etc. Although some may feel web page ads are annoying, the ads keep useful content online and available for free.
Giving an UNWARRANTED "dangerous" ranking for sites like this is turning WOT into the boy that cried wolf....
