So far it has my trust. You just have to remember to uncheck a box that states something about downloading a game....that might be malware. Other than that, the core temp is pretty good. Gonna continue to check on it.

AVOID AVOID took me half an hour and administrator privileges to delete the goodgame empire software. online it said go to control panel, programs and uninstall. it is not listed there. had to run malware program and quarantine them. very disheartening

Installed some kind of VOIP program and Smartsaver+ without any method to opt out. Smartsaver has an uninstall program, but it wants to throw MORE crap on your machine during the uninstall as a "special offer". Clicking on "No Thanks, Just Uninstall" does nothing. Only other option is cancel. Having to remove this junk from my system now.

While downloading Core Temp from this site, AVG alerted me that it had caught a Trojan trying to download.

If you haphazardly click through the install process, it will install all kinds of nasty malware on your PC, It installs ***** and it took nearly 2 hrs to rid my PC of this malware and I had to use 3 different anti-malware apps to do it! The owner of this site should be ashamed to sponsor his app with this malware payload! Why people have rated this trusted is beyond me. I suspect they are false ratings probably generated from the website itself or snap.do. STAY AWAY!

Had to use Malwarebytes to remove LOTS of Malware. I KNOW this was from this site as it was a newly rebuilt PC, and this was apart from the AV the first program installed! Do NOT use.

I am gonna rate this in the negative , the program itself is great , but it comes with a ton of bloatware and some not so savory stuff it tries to slip in during the install , in other words when you are installing DO NOT i repeat DO NOT just click next,next,next and install , pay attention to what its asking you to install and decline all the offers 5 or 6 in all and only install the core temp program itself , when your done it also will open a webpage to a blacklisted site with tons of malware called [ http://1-vinstaller.com/] when that page pops close it imediately.......

Downloading Core Temp through the windows gadget 'Core Temp Gadget 2.7' which is also from alcpu.com redirects you to: ***** Which is already marked as malware/viruses.

Uses InstallerQ a known malware distributor to install Core Temp. How is this program so highly rated I would stay away from this program and the developers.

The tool is working but its infested with adware. I had to unclick 10 programs that would be installed, including a different search engine and homepage.

If you click the "learn more" link, it leads to a red rated page. The InstallIQ installer will offer several extra pieces of software, and even though I thought I had declined everything extra, I ended up with an automatic feed which seemed to come from a TV station. Windows Defender gave no warning about anything in the download.

Download the standalone version. (Tiny link below Download button) The InstallQ installer is dangerous. Don't download that one. Even after I realised and wanted to cancel the installer, it tried to install the crap, you need to read the text like a lawyer and it says : "To quit without installing <crap> click the X button on top right". NOT the standard Next button on bottom.
