If you're looking for 'rare grooves', or vintage 'reggae classics', this music website is set up to allow the free listening and free streaming of music - only for a few seconds - but long enough for you to decide whether it's the right cover version excursion, or maybe even the original. You don't have to log-in, or register - unless you want to of course and you can keep your 'Ad Blocker' switched on, if you want to - but that maybe due to how you arrive at the website - i.e: via song title search, search engine links or direct website address. How you arrive at the website may also means that there is insufficient protection in place to stop children accessing the website and listening to explicit lyrics. However for adults, it's a trusted website. ThanQ!

I love AllMusic.com's reviews, advanced search features (genre, release year), and star-ratings at a glance. I can "follow" any artist in their database to be notified of new releases. I can also submit my own reviews and data corrections. For parents concerned about child safety, note that album covers are not censored and song samples may include explicit lyrics. My only two pet peeves are: (1) It is difficult to find the original label that an album was released under. (For this I use Discogs.org.) (2) Discographies are often incomplete, especially singles and EPs. Presumably, this can be remedied by users who take the time to submit corrections.

Like another notorious website, imdb, allmusic has its roots as a usenet group in the 80's as an encyclopedic source for all things music.
