"Blocks" sites that do not have a partnership with Yahoo (i.e. Wikipedia). You have to click twice in order to get to certain sites. Also gives many more sponsored results and rarely gets you where you want to go.

just altered my rating on this site, my youngster ignored the WOT red warning circle whilst searching for simpsons images, the result a nasty Trogen that wiped out quite a few of my vital programs, took over 80 hours of hard computer time to rectify.

It is a search engine powered by yahoo which adds results not suitable for child on the results pages.

IF you go into "customize preferences" and turn off the "offensive content filter" and click on the "picture tab it can potentially display pictures that would be inappropriate to children.
