I have used Amazon for years and have had no troubles. Just be aware that if you order from vendors other than Amazon you will be dealing primarily with the, although Amazon offers a good liaison for doing business transactions with them.

Have ordered several books, for many years and I have received everything I ordered and in a timely manner. make sure when your register, to mark that you wish not to receive emails. the request is honored.

Excellent site for books, music and just about anything. If you can't find a book at Amazon, you probably won't find it anywhere. I'm actually surprised that someone would give them low marks because they didn't like the content of the book they bought. Note to dummies, they sell books they don't write them!

i enjoy having an account at amazon.com. the lists are helpful and informative and everything is arranged for ease of browsing. As for child safety, that is only as good at the person looking after the child and is not the responsibility of the website. It's like asking a brick and mortar store to post guards around everything but the kids section to check ID.

I love Amazon - the delivery is exceptional. I do wish however they have an easier way of contacting them especially when good delivered are defective. I have been a little shy of their marketplace vendors though
