Is americanlisted.com Safe?

Stolen classified ads - Periodically I place ads on the local Craigslist, and occasionally also eBay Classifieds, for personal items I'm selling. The items sell - or they don't and I donate them - and I remove the ads. Then, months or even years later, I get a call about an item from someone who saw one of my ads on another site and is looking to buy it. I have to spend time apologizing to them for disappointing them, then I have to find the site and contact them to ask them to remove the ad - something I can't do myself because *I don't have an account there*; in fact, most of the time I've never even heard of the site. This is one of those sites; I got a call today about an item someone saw there and was interested in buying - an item that I sold almost a year ago. These sites may think they're helping us sellers by getting our ads seen by more people but 1) if they're not local it doesn't help and 2) if they don't *remove the ad when it's removed from the site they stole it from* it's just misleading. Plus, I don't like having my phone number show up on sites I know nothing about and have no reason to trust.

I did a Google search "rent to own 14 X 20 Storage Shed Easley SC" and this site came up waste of time and advertising money for them as there wasn't anything related to or showing the content of my search on their main page, after doing this specific of a search I didn't want to waste time doing an extensive search on their site, although they did have adsense with more links to the search in query, waste of one's time to look at this site for "rent to own 14 X 20 Storage Shed Easley SC"

This website has several listings posted with my phone number that I DID NOT LIST ON THEIR SITE. They are items that I listed on Craig's List and they must have copied them to their site. I no longer have the items for sale and did not give them permission to use my photos or phone number. They do not credit Craig's List and I did not give them permission to copy my listing anyway. This is illegal and brings in to doubt the ethics of the people running this website.
