If, for some reason, the product doesn't deliver the Independent Business Owner ("IBO") will offer to help if possible to resolve whatever failure so the customer wins & understands using a better product. Years ago, a new customer wanted to try the laundry powder, S-A-8. She used it normally then her husband said it caused her husband's pants to really itch. Come to learn that there was no small, dispensing cup that shows the increments to follow as suggested use, so she used her household cup that's used in cooking, and that much S-A-8 in the laundry would certainly make any clothing absolutely itchy! Safe site and a good company. If you do not like the multi-level marketing idea then do not use them. They do not and have never tried to hide who and what they are. Kudos to Amway as they always offer good quality products and continue to offer new items.

The business opportunity is a "Legal" MLM model. Those that spend years working on the business and fail have simply not gotten back up enough times. I can say this honestly as I am one that has failed at this business opportunity for the last 8-9 years. I have never seen a profit from this business and in fact have made less than 20 sales to anyone other than myself. I know this is not the companies fault but my own. I haven't taken the time to build the business correctly. Weekly meetings are not needed. Trying to duplicate someone else is not the answer. One must build a business the way one is. I am a reclusive person that has little external life. As such trying to build the business by being more outgoing will not work for me. The other half is the products. The products they offer are great and useful and needed by everyone. The customer service may or may not have issues. I've rarely contacted them and usually only as an IBO for password resets. NO issues with any orders.

I did this as a business for 7 years. Put in many hours a week consistently. I signed up many people, bought all the tools, went to all the conventions/seminars, used the products every month and just didn't have much success. I have had success with several other network marketing companies, just not this one. Their customer service is good, the products (they convince you are the best) are average, the compensation plan is not good nor is it feasable for the average person to make money. The tools, conventions etc., are very expensive. Tens of thousands of dollars and seven years later finally did something that works for the average Joe. There are plenty of good ones out there for people. The percentage of people who make money with this is very slim. The customer service was always good.
