Once I installed it, It was very hard to browser at all. Every time I load a page, it says that the server sent no data at all. An when I removed Hot Spot, it is back to normal. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AT ALL COSTS!!!

Hotspot ads adverts to their basic free service, on the browser landing page that is invoked at the beginning of each session, but this does not constitute any intrusion into an users computer and can easily be avoided with common ad blockers. Hotspot - at this time - does provide a useful VPN service that works quickly and well. I found nothing harmful or intrusive in their service, currently, since I use an adblocker in my browser.

For everyone of you N00B's here is your reality check... __________________________________________ NO ADS are installed. NO Changes to 404 error pages. NO default search page changed. __________________________________________ The above is only true if you READ THE TERMS OF AGREEMENT & Do NOT install the toolbar. Honestly, people read something before you install it. Then maybe it could save you the time it took to flame something that in turn makes you look IGNORANT.

Changes browser settings without permission. Changes error 404 page. These changes persist after uninstalling. Had to restore my system to completely get rid of this piece of software.

3
Distributes spyware and adware and sends your personal information to advertisers. Not to mention the downloader doesn't even work.
2
Service provides you with "fake" privacy while serving ads and opening your private information to hundreds of advertisers.
5
adware but can be fixed by AdBlock add-on on firefox 100% working
8
Contains adware, it's highly recommended that you do NOT visit sites that contain spyware and/or adware as it SLOWS down your computer and SPY on you with tracking cookies secondly, it's listed by hpHosts
