Mal eben schnell eine Entwicklungsumgebung für PHP/MySQL aufbauen? Das kann eine nervenaufreibende Angelegenheit werden. Server installieren, diverse Paketabhängigkeiten auflösen, Module kompilieren und Konfigdateien editieren... Wer schneller starten will kommt an XAMPP wohl kaum vorbei. Schmerzfrei und schnell sind alle notwendigen Pakete in einem Aufwasch installiert und mit bewährten Defaulteinstellungen vorkonfiguriert, so dass man in der Regel ohne große Anpassung loslegen kann. Die perfekte Wahl für die lokale Entwicklungsumgebung unter Windows oder Mac.

Ein sehr gutes Programm für ein PHP Server zu erstellen. Es werden auch immer sehr schnell Fehler behoben.
