This web site sells rogue scareware designed to pretend your computer has problems, such as errors or malware, to trick you into paying to "fix" those imaginary problems. Tests verify this scareware reports problems on perfectly healthy computers.
Advertised in spam email via the ColocateUSA spam network and in other online media and television - a lucrative scam.
Risks: tracking and spam, credit card fraud, identity theft, malware.
Provide no financial or personal data. The "Unsubscribe" link in spam email is also fake.

This is crapware at best. Don't buy it, don't use it. You'll need to reformat afterwards.
As for the reply to my comment, I stand by my statements. I have helped people remove this software from their computers and when system file checker failed to repair what it damaged, the users were OFTEN forced to do repair installs if they were fortunate enough to have actual operating system disks, or destructive recoveries (aka reformat, reinstall as they accomplish the same) to make their computers usable again. *****

I had an issue with my PC and their site came up on Google when I looked up the error that was showing up. After reading their error message page I was able to fix the error and I didn't pay anything. Ascentive is A-OK with me!

Went looking for a new Anti-Spyware program and found their Ascentive Spyware Striker program. Their definitions database actually outclasses some of the big boy programs like Norton, McAfee, AVG just to name a few.

Just bought their Spyware program it found over 500 threats,I can already see the difference in my computer. Customer Service rep was really nice and helped me find out why my computer was running so slow and what program was best for me. I'm officially a life time customer. Live Support 365 is a great service! I was having some issues getting my new printer to network properly with my two PC's at home, and I called and the technician helped me set it up quickly and correctly.

***** is a great site. I find the online community really intersting. Also they recently did a re-design and made it even easier to find helpful informtion on the software. The software itself is great! Their LiveSupport365 is a great tech support that was just so helpful.

I've had a great customer experience with Ascentive. I've purchased both Spyware Striker Pro and their LiveSupport365 live tech service and I've found both of them wonderful. Spyware Striker Pro has proven to be better than ANY anti-virus program I've had in the past. I've used Norton, McAfee, and AVG and Spyware Striker has kept my PC cleaner longer than any of those and also doesn't take up an annoyingly huge chuck of system resources while it scans. The LiveSupport service is also fantastic. Their techs really are available 24/7. Everyone I've spoken with has been really amiable and I've yet to have a problem they couldn't fix. Big thumbs up for Ascentive! I would recommend their services to anyone!

The live support technician really helped get my computer up and running again. My PC was opening hundreds of browsers at a time and the tech was able to diagnose the problem and fix it
