Firm claims we made a purchase for "iolo" System Mechanic software update through them on 28. Feb.2015. For this alleged purchase their reference # ***** was issued. My licence for the software [already installed and used for many years on my PC] is valid until April 217!!!!! We never provided a payment authorization nor disseminated a Credit card info in connection with this alleged sale!.

The web page seems to be ok. But the business model of that company contains the company contains the attempt to outsmart end customers with automatic license prolongation terms. I see this experience with Bit Defender Antivirus Software. Avantgate never is visible as contracting party, when you order Bit Defender you only have to accept Bit Defender terms of contract, but then THEY come with announcements of automatic prolongation ... I avoid contact with such sly dogs.

Tried to buy an update from site of a vendor I'd used for years. They had moved their e-Commerce ops to Avangate, off-shore. My card has a domestic lock on it (which I can have turned off). However, when I unlocked the card, the site still declined my card, even when I used a different logon and browser, and had cleared cookies. Bummer.
