Btw it's a funny story that I was first adviced bbc to learn english lol, and as you can see, it did help a bit. But it was responsible for improving my reading, and it was like a decade ago and i didnt even look into the meaning of the articles I just read them. Now this is perhaps the only pace I get my news from, all the other places seem to be too left or too biased and try to push their propaganda. I am not saying there is no subjectivity in bbc, but for sure you can see the difference with other sites and they allow some fair evaluation as well.

I first explored the BBC website, while I was learning English and was supposed to pass my international language test(IELTS), if anybody knows. There were a bunch of news releases, podcasts, and articles written in the most formal and academic manner, exactly what I needed for my preparation. After that, in more conscious age, I started to use its primary purpose, reading the news and follow what`s going in the world, I`m interested in world of finance, trading, this kind of things, so it`s sometimes helpful to observe the breaking new and other events to predict the financial markets movement, yes there are specialised economic portal for this, but for general picture and for self-interest, I prefer using bbc. In my opinion, I think nobody would believe me, I think this news agency is the most reliable and unbiased in the world. It sounds loud, but the way that they present the material in the neutral and objective way, make me feel that journalism hasn`t died yet, and I made a right choice to select them among many other ways to know what`s going on in the world.

I gotta admit BBC played some huge role in my life, though not directly, but still. It was the time when I was learning english, and I just couldn't find something itneresting to read everyday, cuz I am not fond of books to be honest. Then I got recommended, BBC - digest of news and what's happening the world. A decade later, I still got the habit of checking the bbc news, but after I've learned the language, I am just reading the news cuz they are interesting lol. Anyways, thanks for good info!

I’m an avid reader of many news and articles about everything from all over the world and BBC is one of the most trustworthy sources when it comes to confirmation of true news. However, sometimes their copywriters or journalists write provocative and negative headers which boils down to misunderstanding and many conflicts. Many people are lazy to read all the text which you publish and most of them are paying attention only to the headers, it seems they just need more feedback, comments and that’s all.
