They don't pay affiliates. I'm still pending of a payment from July 2013.

It's a PPI site. What would you expect. Offcourse they have a adware based installer that people use on their software to make money. If it wasn't adware then there will be no money. As for the mallware part... i saw no mallware. I use it on my software and there is no mallware involved.

Contacting software developers to turn their clean installers into 'worse' (definetly not 'better') installers that install other software on your computer that you most probably do not want (i.e. toolbars). Nothing 'illegal' but I (and I believe many would agree with me) don't like this kind of way to make money. Sure you can 'choose' not to install the extra software, but it's simply taking advantage of people who do not bother to read through the installer and pay attention.
