Is blitware.com Safe?

This rating is based on personal experience trying to help a victim. She had deleted some files she wanted. Found Blitware undeleter website. I don't even think she installed the software, - looks like it just did a drive-by install. Then the deleted files were replaced with files with little orange ring symbols like a lifebelt, with names starting with "unregistered" and ending in file extension ".und" - like unregistered__1031813056___.und with zero (0) size These files are not recovered by standard file-recovery software, so must be encrypted. So far we have not paid the ransom, but have discovered lots of people who have been scammed, and a few obviously false glowing reviews.

DriverFetch and Undeleter are both BAD. This is "Driver Robot" under a different name. "Driver Fetch automatically detects the exact manufacturer, model, and revision of your xxxxx with 100% accuracy." One CANNOT claim 100% accuracy. Ever. DO NOT run their UNDELETER product on your computer - it will encrypt your deleted files (without your consent), forcing you to purchase their product to retrieve these deleted files

Made my pc totally unusable, web, restore functions on pc as well as utilities which save restore points, EVERYTHING. BEWARE! Addendum: Just talked to a pc tech guy re problems, what can be done. He said LOTS of folks bringing in pc's which have been rendered unusable from downloading MEDKIT. He knows about this program and how destructive it can be. Would LOVE to bring CLASS ACTION SUIT against outfits like this!
