Is bluestacks.com Safe?

It runs Android 7.1 good. But, other instances like Android 9 and 11 doesn't even work. So can't even use some app and games. I use windows 10.(Yea I have virtualization enabled) I would recommend others to use memu Android player. It cames inbuilt with Android 9 and optimised for user experience on pc. *(not sponsored me bruh)

I open the phone and see that my Google account was logged in from a Samsung device, which I don’t use out of principle. the screen is not even an attempt, but a real entrance - I can provide. then decide for yourself.

This download is not safe! When I downloaded this, It tracked my IP and Internet! A few days later after I downloaded it, it turned off my internet. When i uninstalled it I finally got my internet back. Please do not download this! The people that say It's 5 stars may be trolling, didn't get hacked yet, or is bots. Blue stacks is NOT safe.

I had BlueStacks for a few months, paid for the premium subscription even. For the record, I've enjoyed playing BlueStacks on the technical standpoint. The games generally ran smoothly for me with the few very rare moments of the application crashing. Slightly dissapointed that some applications like FateGO wouldnt run. However, through my use of BlueStacks, I did run into a couple red flags. Firstly, if you send a support ticket through the application, it would send them a log of your entire system. This would include what other applications you have open at the time; looking at the logs, I had outlook open and it clearly displayed my email addresses, both personal and for work. It is mentioned in their privacy policy that they'll send over such logs but I didn't expect the level of detail the logs reflected. Secondly, their customer support is selective. They'd reply on issues like an app is not working, giving the standard notice that they'll inform their development team, however, many times my support tickets gets totally ignored, especially ones concerning privacy. The final nail in the coffin is a feature called "BlueStacksHelper" which nests itself in Windows Scheduler. This would allow BlueStacks to display ads to you even when you have the application closed. This in fact displays an ad even with a premium account and had the promotional options disabled in the account window. This happened during their fifa event period. I simply found this feature pretty invasive and emailed their support for clarification. As usual, no reply ever since(its been a month and counting); not even how to mute this feature. Of course I learnt of this feature through reddit instead. I just find this feature unethical. I understand ads are necessary to sustain a free service, however, not to the point of showing them when the application is closed. I'd doubt you'd want to see the best deals from Amazon pop up while you don't even have your browser open, especially when you've paid for Amazon Prime. Even if Bluestacks does not have malicious intentions, I find it hard to trust this application. I worry what else BlueStacks could possibly do beyond the the users' common knowledge, which is probably buried somewhere in their Terms or Privacy Policy. Helpful Links: ***** *****

Now they've gone rogue abusing trust and people's ignorance. Old story. These kind of people will never give a shit about your privacy. forget it.
