It's true that this site does catalog free audio books from LibriVox, Project Gutenberg, etc. However, it also includes reader reviews of the audio books. I found that very useful and might have skipped some downloads if I hadn't read the review praising the quality of the volunteer reader. However, if you want to look for downloads without Google ads at the top of the page, just go to LibriVox. Also, only LibriVox has the LibriVox forum.

This site catalogs books from Gutenberg and LibriVox, and tacks Google ads at the top. Just go direct to the original, ad-free sites.
