Is centralr.com Safe?

I found a deal on a hotel room on Central R for €90. I made a reservation and had to pay a deposit of €15.30. I received an email from Central R confirming my reservation.This email also informed me that I would have to pay the remaining balance of €74.70 upon arrival at the hotel, and had my confirmation number. When I arrived at the hotel there was no record of my reservation. The reception desk informed me that Central R have no permission to advertise rooms on their behalf. I was lucky that the hotel was not fully booked and they offered me a room for €90. I sent several emails to Central R outlining my complaint and asking for a refund on the deposit. They have yet to reply. There was also no answer from the customer service listed on their website.
