Is cheathappens.com Safe?

First off they have fake accounts on this site giving good reviews bc they make no sense so ill start with that. One says their site is visually appealing and a breeze to navigate, its not. Its so ugly with too many things on your screen at once and just hard to look at. Not to mention almost impossible to navigate unless you know exactly what you are looking for and just search it. If you want to cancel your membership, good luck, instead of going to your account and "my memberships" you have to go to a thread(which i had to search for on google), and find the email to tell them you want to cancel. But onto my issue with the company, the WORST customer service you could ever encounter. I subbed for one trainer in particular, and when the game updated the trainer broke. When they fixed the trainer they had all kinds of instructions which were easy to follow, but if anything went wrong at all it was YOUR fault according to them. When you tell them you have an issue they just point you to the thread with the same instructions over and over again, never actually helping. With this newest update they finally fixed the trainer again and when one person told them it didnt work, instead of helping like a normal person would, the retired the trainer and no one can use it ever again. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. The worst comany you could ever buy a trainer from. If you read this, get Wemod they're so much better and will actually help if you have any issues

I'm old as dirt, and for all of my game trainers for the past 8 years, CH has been my home with a lifetime sub. The #1 contributing factor to my choice to support CH, is the simple fact that online gaming of any form is unacceptable, and that to me, is important enough, that I handed my hard earned cash over to access all the features available. I choose CH above all others out there because every time I wanted a trainer without a bunch of BS, CH had one. I had initially balked at what seemed a high price for an augmentation to my gaming experience, however my experience has been above and beyond what I expected. CH has always given back to community that supports them, from simply supplying trainers that are regularly updated, to giveaways, and a points system that gives me real world items at real world costs, for free. There is no other "good" choice for me.

Have been a member of cheathappens for about 16 years when I bought a lifetime account for like $20. I still have and use that account to this day and they have honored my subscription, never asking for another penny to download any of their trainers. Now THAT is something these other big companies should be looking at. All these other copycat sites that sprouted up don't even dare to offer a lifetime subscription, probably because they don't even have the confidence that their sites will be around for another year or two. cheathappens always has the newest trainers with the most options and almost every time they are available for download on the same day the game is released. Their new software Aurora is the best thing the trainer world has ever seen and it gets better all the time. Just today I got a email newsletter letting me know that their software now makes backups of your savegames when you use their trainer just in case you press the wrong options or mess up your game somehow. No more starting over. Where do they come up with these awesome ideas and even still why do they continue to give all these new features away for free to people like me who paid $20 16 years ago? I actually feel bad for not paying more for everything I have gotten from them all these years. Least I can do is take 5 mins and leave an honest review of their site.

Best gaming site around, not just for cheats and trainers, but for the amazing gaming community. Solid for years and it just keeps getting better, especially with the Aurora app. Lifetime Plus subscription is totally worth it, but definitely not required. Thanks for everything!

First off I've been a member of cheat happens since 2013 was pretty happy with them for the most part up until recently. I don't know if you're just getting burned out or what's going on. But they have no customer service at this point if you ask for help or an update on a trainer you're either lied to or if you bring it up in their forms baby coming extremely abrasive condescending and rude. Not what I expect from a place that I've done business with for a very long time. I have stopped asking for updates on trainers that I've used because I know they won't get done. I no longer feel like an ass for help without being made to feel like I'm a piece of crap. I'm going to switch over to a different trainer company. At this point I don't longer feel that my continued loyalty is appreciated. As for their trainers some are put together fairly decently why the majority of them feel like they're slapped together with lots of holes in them. This is an incredibly unfortunate that this company that I once loved has turned into something I absolutely hate and I hope they go out of business.

In a nutshell, it's a scam website with potential viruses and extremely poor customer service. The site offers trainers for various games, but they attempt to scam you by making you purchase them, and then you run the risk of destroying your computer upon downloading them. You can easily get reliable trainers from sites like Nexus, learn how to make your own, or you can use someone else's save data for your games. (Be it from your friends, a trustworthy site, etc.) Don't purchase anything from this site, do yourself a favor and save your money and computer.

The MUGEN Archive of trainers I was looking up Sonic Forces cheats and found an article on a Wordpress gaming news blog (that didn't even change the Wordpress tab icon even though they had a custom URL pft) shilling this site, I came to Trustpilot to see if it was legit and saw the negative reviews and was downright appalled by the attitude of the people owning the site. Half the time they were unprofessional and the other half they were professional but not properly addressing complaints and/or accusing people with legitimate complaints of lying. They even reported and successfully censored someone's review (which made me dubious of Trustpilot's reputation and was later validated by negative reviews here on this site) Frankly I for one believe they are stealing code, they're doing basically almost everything else MUGEN Archive's staff does (that is to say, MUGEN Archive is profiting off MUGEN characters that don't belong to them that are available for free elsewhere (barring some super janky characters) without permission).

As someone who uses Cheat Happens frequently, and for 6 years now, I am very impressed with their services. For a single one-off lifetime membership fee, I'm given access to all of their trainer software they've ever made, or will ever make which really is a bargain. Trainer software is software that hooks into a game in the computer's memory and modifies certain things about it, like for example, gives you invincibility, kinda like a cheat code. This action of hooking into games in the computer's memory often causes a virus scanner response - because some viruses can do similar things - however a trainer is not a virus, nor is it anything like a virus other than its ability to modify specific items in memory, it is merely a program that helps people play games easier, or to modify certain aspects of that game to suit their needs. Cheat Happens has been around for many, many years and would not exist if they were not legitimate. Most of the reviews here stating there is malware are merely false positives and nothing actually dangerous. As for the site, the staff are very attentive to users' needs, often fixing issues with the trainer software within minutes of problems being reported, engaging the community in problem-solving and helping people run their software who are otherwise unable to. I use Cheat Happens' trainers to make beating games quicker as my health is fickle and I have a long backlog of games I would like to complete. Without Cheat Happens I would not enjoy playing video games even half as much as I do.

There are no viruses or malware on this site. As others above have said, trainers are sometimes alerted on by anti-virus apps as false positives. Don't listen to heresay, check sites such as ***** where Cheathappens is rated SAFE by most all of the major anti-virus programs on the market. I've been a Lifetime member over 10 years and have not once seen anybody get an actual virus or any malware at all. Simply not true. They have PC game trainers that work. Period. It's a pay site because they have a small staff of full time professionals that must be paid. Great site for PC gamers. If you still have concerns, submit the trainer to your anti-virus company. Tell them you think it's a false positive and ask them to check it. They're 100% safe, folks. If you don't use them, the only one that misses out is you.
