What is with you all saying that the Ask toolbar should be ticked/unticked? It is a way of advertising; if you don't want it, it is easy to go up to the checkbox, untick it, and click Next.
Also, the Ask toolbar may be pointless, but it is NOT spyware. It is a search engine toolbar, just like the Google, Yahoo!, and other search engine toolbars. "

I have a mixed review for this site. While they do include the ASK Toolbar in the installation, it's purely optional and you can just disable installing it, or uninstall the toolbar later. The program itself is a good one. I use it even though it still doesn't have realtime protection. "
