Edited ***** to fix rating and disable live link. The software they distribute creates significant security risks for your computer, as found out at hxxps://www.eff.org/computercop The image search portion is quite useless as it just vacuums up every single image file on the hard drive, especially the icons and clipart bundled into the system's software, and it has a delete button, which is great for an uneducated user to mess up their system.

ComputerCOP is spyware, pure and simple. It's also being aggressively promoted by US law enforcement agencies : "In at least one case, a sheriff’s department bought a copy of the software for every family in his county". The software transmits unencrypted data from its keylogger component to unidentified servers, which is inherently unsafe. The EFF rates the program as “neither safe nor secure". The website preys on the fears of parents about their childrens' online activities, and uses those inchoate fears to deliver a product that the totalitarian regimes of the last century would recognise and welcome. I wonder whose are the servers that receive all the data from this piece of spyware junk.

Key Logger is unencrypted. Also goes through LE to get put onto computers all across the country to monitor children.

Keylogging malware, pretends to be for families but collects for 3rd parties.
