Is dealnews.com Safe?

I did not ask to be sent their email. Therefore the definition is spam. I keep getting email from these scammers, even after "Unsubscribing". Rating accordingly.

I cannot count the deals I've gotten when purchasing items with advice from this site, but European plane trips, computers and multiple freebies are all included. They also have a notification service, which will let you know if the product you're waiting to buy is on sale for the price you want to pay. They are known to intervene for consumers when a store plays unfairly, and refuse to mention deals at stores which have treated customers badly in the past. All in all, Dealnews is one of consumer's best friends in the mostly unlawful badlands of the Internet.

Received fake antivirus warning while using I.E. I.E. Locked up and I had to shut it down via the task manager. Returned to the site (sandboxed) and the warning did not come back, but needless to say, I'm not clicking ANYthing on these people's page, and I would suggest you use extreme caution too.
