Is dealsdirect.com.au Safe?

Communication is appalling, had I not contacted them I would not have been told there was a problem.The initial order tracking confirmation was deceptive, yet again I had to contact them for link to the courier (LCX)I'd never heard of, normally they use Toll. They then provided a link ... to Toll.Bottom line ... they did not have the product in stock!!!I have all emails to prove these claims. The sad part is I have purchased from them before without incident.I will never buy from DealsDirect again nor do I recommend them.

As far as I can see they are reliable but make sure you check the prices elsewhere. While some of their prices are cheap some are not and some are above RRP.. Most prices are as expensive as or higher than retail. Look else where first - most other sites and retailers with be about 20 - 40% cheaper. Most "super deals" just suck - Centercom in Victoria sell 1 TB drives for $89 and they are calling their 320G drives @$99 a bargain. = hyped up crap. Usually the cheapest of the "cheap junk". Site lacks technical content on "industrial products". Staff are technically clueless: PERIOD. Inquiries from self to staff, to manufacturers are NEVER followed through. Postage generally high cost. Have been nailed by legislative body for misleading consumer rights in regards to warranty and refunds. "Weekly special emails" are generally packed with crap like "fluffy bling mobile phone covers only $19.99, super special, bargain, hurry before you miss out. = Mostly annoyingly stupid stuff losers buy. Generally crappy products, at the highest margins. Much better products and prices elsewhere.

In Firefox 3.6 I am getting an "This web page at www.dealsdirect.com.au has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences." from Google for the dealsdirect.com.au website. This is a bit scary considering I only placed an order yesterday.
