Great TV service. However, beware the Internet service; it has data limits.

Dish Network will compete for you as a new customer. But once you have been with them a little, you quickly find they are lacking with loyalty to old customers. I guess their mom and dad never taught them: New friends are like silver, old friends are like gold... They need a loyalty program. directv is much better.

I like my DirecTV, but Dish is getting a little better I hear. Doesn't have all the issues I previously mentioned. They're just trying to compete.

Dropped contracted channels AMC and IFC while RAISING the monthly fee without notice or explanation. Now they tell me I can watch those shows by paying to see them on amazon or itunes. Customer service is a joke - to email queries, all they ever respond with is prewritten form letters. Replying and asking for answers to the actual questions results in no response. The latest DISH boondoggle: Dear Dish Network: "This channel (204, Tru TV) is moving to 242...." Oh great. Moving a channel again. Delete 15 DVR events, one at a time, manually. Try to recreate 15 DVR events, one at a time, manually. Be unable to create some because the show is currently off season. Write those down for periodic later manual searches hoping to catch them before episodes are missed. Did TRU TV piss you guys off? Well, you are pissing ME off! There is some good news, though. My neighborhood is supposed to be wired for cable this year. YAY! No more Dish Network! So why doesn't a channel change affect the related DVR timers automatically? Too easy for your customers? Why can't the channel for an event be edited, since you do this channel move thing so often? BTW, timers can not be reentered manually at all right now, because the schedule for 242 says "no info available" for every time slot. Nice coordination.

It's pretty good. I wish there was an option to require password to view folders. Because I have a problem with people deleting my folders.... :(

Dear DISH Network: You need to control your affiliates better. I get about 2 spams a week from them, and I'm not even in an area where I can buy your service. You can see that this sort of behavior likely doesn't increase your reputation.
