The site includes an awful endless pop-up with a beeping alarm sound and the text: "WARNING: [ISP] customer - Your [browser] and Your PC may have critical security vulnerabilities. Call ***** (Toll-FREE and PRESS-1) now for IMMEDIATE assistance. Please only call if the following date and time match: [date] @ [time]" (I bracketed words to obscure potentially sensitive data). The pop-up doesn't go away unless you quickly close the pop-up and the tab rapidly. The popup is in an endless loop of reopening after one second. The tab itself shows a large "Threats Detected" panel that is made to look like a Norton Antivirus warning, including a "Norton by Symantic" logo, and refers to itself as "Norton Technical Support". The warning lists "Tojan.DealPly" and "SpyWare.bot" as Critical Risk and Infected Status items. Aside from being an obnoxious and persistent ad, it's also misleading, and is clearly lying about being a legitimate product.

On going to downforeveryoneorjustme.com, which seemed like an innocuous site (albeit one that suspiciously required javascript for it's very basic function), I found my browser opened a new tab ***** Now if that isn't a suspicious url and website (thanks script-blocker - as it was blank except a script pointing to this dntx.com - that had been blocked) then I don't know what is!
