Is domains.googlesyndication.com Safe?

As I began checking my Yahoo! email (and simultaneously dealing with *two* app-hangs in Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 8), a distracting and annoying pop-up "header" homepage advertising a "Microsoft-"endorsed "GAMESHOP [SAFARI ARCADE]" appeared,...but once I tapped anywhere on the page, never led me to *any* page explaining the reported 2014 game(s)! Instead, it led me through a search-page (http://www.search.googlesyndicate.com) which happened to have ONE legitimate link for users to try Mozilla Firefox 26, optimized for Yahoo. But once I tapped on another link - regarding "...safaris," I got subjected to a browser-redirection to http://www.domains.googlesyndication.com! Based on this and WOT's displaying a "warning!" message, I am now led to believe the Webpage and site are suspicious in several ways: "mockingbird-"type "data-miner-"information-swiping applets which furtively run as the visitor obediently signs up or signs in to become a registered user of the Site or Page; possibly-consequent "phishing-"and-mass-spamming attempts against registered users; and perhaps resultant fiscal and privacy or security risks as users possibly get tricked into "upgrading" to paid-for versions of any "free-to-try"[sic; buyers beware of any ironically-levied (deeply-)discounted fees!] services, software and firmware, or other items(a) or into becoming *paying users or subscribers to* the Page(b)...as well as deceptive and deceitful practices of luring in searchers with one correct ***** they will then be set up for the subsequent duping-and-fleecing elsewhere..., at or around other entries and digests and thus exposed to the above risks listed. It is wise for people to install plugins such as AVG Safe-Search WOT in order to help them keep away from such tricky and suspicious Webpages or Websites such s this one!

I can not trust any information on the parked page. None of the sites appear legit, and the main way they get hits to "make money" is by typos. In mycase, the browser was redirected from.... ***** Domain squatting is as bad as patent trolls. Don't want your investment devalued? don't scoop up a bunch of sites in the hope of selling them to a legit site holding them hostage. I can't think of a legit google syndication use. If you can..... stop trolling, and create a useful site. Wanna stop getting complaints from typo's start reviewing your logs of referring sites, and block the bad referrers. i.e. ***** -- a simple .htaccess or script can detect this. Being as this is an issue, you may check with the developer of the parked domain software creating links. BAD BAD BAD untrustworthy. Because they don't check for this, I can't trust them. (That and the links on them are so often useless spam. Including the ones I just saw here)

Simple redirect for web domain parking. All web traffic analysts shows absolutely no risk, or harm to end user. No phishing, no scam, no exploits. Harmless. The only problem I can see is some people might be butt-hurt by the fact that it might not have been the site they intended to get when you typed in the original address. This only means the original site is temporarily out of service but the web domain is still reserved for future use. No reason to give it a bad rating.
