Is drugfreeworld.org Safe?

The other users have mislead you, because of their pro-drug beliefs. This site is not suspicious at all, they have facts about drugs and the side effects of them. If those users want to glorify drugs and do meth, go ahead. But they should not condemn a website that gives information about the harm of those drugs.

Not at all suitable for children and teens. This site is strictly for adults interested in obtaining some information about illicit substances. This site does NOT condone the use of illicit drugs, far from it. Regardless of your personal stance on the subject matter, the information is on par with what you'd find on most online medical reference sites, rehab sites and say Wikipedia.

Unfortunately, while this site may look like it is trying to inform people about drugs. After doing little research it can be found that a lot of the information is not only written in a misleading way but is just wrong and there are no scientific sources to back up any of their claims. For example, I found on the LSD page they claimed that someone named "Donna" said that "LSD quickly fell into my hands and I became addicted, eating it like candy" and that someone named "Edith" said that "Fifteen minutes after putting the paper on my tongue my entire body got hot and I began to sweat." LSD is not an addictive drug! even the US government agrees ***** Having the effects of 1 tab of LSD start 15 minutes after ingestion is also incredibly unlikely and unheard of. on a chart comparing the potency of lsd and mescaline (which does not reflect the safety of the drugs in any way) they managed to misspell the word mescaline as "mescoline". If these "experts" cannot even spell the names of the drugs they are discussing they are NOT trustworthy Also, on the Ecstasy page under the heading "scientific information" it says "A great many studies have been conducted on Ecstasy. They show that:" without any references to these scientific studies. after some more digging I found that this website is run by the church of Scientology who are known for their "factual information"! Turns out they use this website to recruit vulnerable drug addicts into joining the cult through their "narcoon" rehab program. Fortunately there are websites backed by donations such as "Erowid" and "Psychonaut wiki" which give us unbiased access to scientific information. If you are a teacher or work at a rehab center please do not use the resources this website provides as you will be spreading misinformation which can kill. DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Check the "Who we are" tab on this site and you will discover this is a good, reliable and very well intentioned organization .  The rating of untrustworthy and not a child safe site is  misleading, making me wonder who gave these bad ratings and what are their intentions, which are, obviously, not good.
