Is espares.co.uk Safe?

I bought a rubber door seal replacement for my Smeg oven (not an inexpensive brand). I contacted them about a replacement, and apparently the part has only a 3 month warranty. Terribly short. Apparently a rubber door seal is a "consumable item" but the idea a rubber door seal will wear out after 3 months is ridiculous. The real problem was that I left a negative review about the experience, and espares scrubbed it from their site. They emailed me saying it would not be posted, and instead I'd be contacted by their customer support, which I never was (until I re-initiated contact) Very disappointed, especially with scrubbing my review. Who knows, maybe someone else left a similar review that would have helped me avoid them, and they scrubbed that one too?

I have ordered items from this site on only one occasion. I ordered some carbon brushes for a washing machine on a Friday evening and was promised delivery on the following Monday. Between ordering and delivery I received three emails and two text messages to keep me informed about the progress of my order and the precise time of delivery. Everything went according to plan and I received the items I had purchased exactly as promised. From my limited experience of the site, the performance of the site is excellent.

Site advertises spares that it doesn't have - e.g. for my specific model number of electric kettle it has a unique page - that only contains generic de-scaling powder and a generic kettle lead (that this kettle doesn't even use!) This is to manipulate search engine results and is a waste of time. Fuck them!
