Is espn.go.com Safe?

ESPN is safe- but IMO it isn't as good as other major sports sites. I feel that others have better content and design. Without an overhaul I wont bookmark it. Also, I don't see the ads and popups that others do- because I configure every site and decide what I want to allow to run.
