I believe that anybody who enters a social site, such as facebook, should have armored up their own defenses, from browser attacks to pc/server/pc, or server/pc attacks.....can expect that at sometime...because of inadequate defenses to a losely chosen decision to click a link that doesn't activate a prompt before entering the link to that server; which is not even closely related to facebook's server.......THEY WILL BE INFECTED AND THIS IS A BET.....

I clicked on an ad for a STEELERS fan page on Facebook. When the WOT warning posted, I tried to cancel...a pop up urged me to continue to their page, take a survey & win prizes. I think not! After reading all of your posts, I'm glad that I continue to trust WOT.

Clicked an ad from Facebook and this was not CLOSE to what the ad promised. [Said it was an Eminem Fanclub that was closing in 4 days.]

Themes for Facebook. It loaded okay, however, whenever I opened a new tab it hijacked my browser to show a search page that was not my default page. Puts an add-on onto Firefox and it needs to be uninstalled for security purposes.
