AWcraig37 writes that the site has trojans. Been using it for as long as it has existed and have never had any malicious download occur. Great site and no viruses and completely safe.

Great, useful resource. Easy to navigate. Great connection tool for people. Really doubt the comment on viruses/trojans - never, never have come across one (and being in security industry I run an IPS on my network that alerts me to everything).

Be very careful using this site. Although a useful site for genealogist, it is very prone to harbor trojans and viruses. I have been infected twice within the last 2 weeks with 3 different trojans. It seems that this has been an ongoing problem with this site for at least the last year. The managers of this site are evidently unable to keep it free from malware!!
