Is flvto.com Safe?

***** is a horrible site and a horrible converter. No matter what you try to convert, you will get the same errors for every one. What happens is, you'll add a link, and click to convert it. Almost no file will be converted after the first try. Many, and I mean MANY files take between 5 and 15 attempts to actually work, even though you received 14 error messages saying the link is no longer valid, the video has been removed from YouTube, a 404 error, another error that slowly shows the file converting to 101% and stopping, copyright error, and another is where you'll watch the progress of the conversion reach 100% and then you go to click to convert it and it does nothing, so you'll have to try again. If all of these errors are true, then NO FILE should work after receiving one, but I've gotten about 98% converted after seeing those fake message. Without an ad-blocker, you'll see all the junk ads that should scare you. If you allow the site to send you notifications, it won't just notify you when your file actually gets successfully converted, but it will bombard you with ads that I have no doubt will lead to your computer getting infected with mal-ware, Ad-ware, and viruses. This site is dangerous and you shouldn't trust it.

I purchased this software and at first it was fine then I deleted the anti virus software it sneaks on your pc and nothing worked any longer. Check it out if you download the converter without the anti virus software you get error codes and nothing works. This company sucks big time. To top it of you can't reach anyone to get a refund. Very unhappy customer.

Site keeps directing to a malicious Adobe flash download. Norton Antivirus blocked it but it tried downloading automatically. If you’re considering this converter for downloading music to iTunes, don’t. It added bugs to my iTunes library and now it appears my music is destroyed.

I have used this app for years. Only recently has it changed, for the worse. During the three steps of converting to mp3 a youtube video now pop ups appear and tabs that demand my attention. Since I know the conversion process well, I know how to patiently make these unwanted things to disappear and finish the conversion. The conversion is still very reliable and I get what I want: a ripped to an mp3 audio file. I came here because I wondered if I needed to see if the site was reliable. Your comments have raised a reasonable suspicion. Thank you WOT community for caring.

Overall, ***** is an excellent converter. I use it for a lot of music for my iPod, as it is easy to use and actually pretty fast. Cons: -Lots of ads -Pop-ups if not using adblock -Downloading the actual converter may result in viruses -Bugs and glitches sometimes occur while converting -You have to monitor the site each time you convert to click the "I Don't Want to Help You" if you have adblock Pros: -Fast -Easy layout and instructions -Downloading the files you want don't contain viruses Basically, just don't download or click anything other than the files you are trying to download, and the site will work wonders for you.

Do not install anything from this site. For me I use a macbook version ***** and when i tried to download the converter i skimmed over the installer information and did not see GENIEO in there. However that did get in and if you just search genieo for a second you will see what it is. Seems harmless. But when you're trying to download flvto stuff and you get this genieo shit it borders on being a virus really, running without your permission if you skim like me. OR don't know what genieo is before hand and think it's part of flvto. Do not download if you have a mac. My friend has Windows and said it seems to be fine, but mac users beware.

I used to love this site and use it. But I tired to convert a video and it said something like "error the video you selected is being converted too many times download our software to convert video" The video I wanted to convert had like 400 views... I can say with nearly 100% confidence no one else was converting the video. It had too few views...
