Is forecast.weather.gov Safe?

Most accurate and reliable weather site I've ever used. Best feature is the "point forecast", which uses a 1.6-mile square grid pattern allowing you to access the forecast for a very specific area (you can use a zip code or even GPS coordinates!). It takes into consideration the elevation and other factors that create microclimates which can change quite drastically from mile to mile. My friend lives 3.5 miles from me, and is 150 feet higher in elevation than I, and we often have very different weather (e.g. sun vs. snow). This kind of specificity is not reflected by the blanket area forecasts from other sources. There is so much information (tabulated each hour and updated about every 1½ hours) available for each grid section that I can't begin to cover it all. It's the only weather site you'll ever need! Absolutely no phishing, no spam, no malware, etc.

We all know how unpredictable weather is (especially in Texas where I used to live!), but NOAA does a pretty good job of keeping up with the weather forecasting for the area where I live, now, in Virginia! Keep up the good work, y'all! And thanks, too...
