I did not use CNET for a while, but I just downloaded free software via CNET. Before I could download the software, I had to download the CNET Installer. Though this installer was never necessary before, I did so to be able to download the software. Bad choice. CNET redirects your search to Yahoo and installs more shitty programs in the background. I will never download from CNET again

Download manager installs adware "Coupon Companion" on computer. This is known to be a problem with Cnet.

The owners of the site have been exposed to distributing pirating software and then put them to jail for copyright infringing. Be very careful to what you download! :)

Followed a Link Ol' Faithful CNET---I was Blocked by Dramatic Black Page w/ Vibrant Golden Warning About Site's UNKNOWN Character-- Yet in the Middle of the Page 4 Brilliant Green Circles Of Praise Were Accompanied by 4 Ratings of EXCELLENT !!! (Think I'll disregard THAT warning ;- )
